Today bought a 24W Actinic blue tube.
I am using 2ft light with 3 x 24W T5HO with 2 switches which previously use for planted.
I am wondering whether to use 2 white 1 blue, or 1 white 2 blue?
Any suggestion?
Some pictures taken with different light mode.

1 x 24W White

1 Blue + 1 White

1 x 24W Actinic blue

i like the 1 x 24W White combination the best. =)
but in the long run, choose according to whatever's best for the creatures living in there.

The protein skimmer and the overflow is consider masterpieces of DIY. The light effect is most soothing in the middle pic. All the best to marine keeping.

I have also long lost touched of marine since i sold everything after decomm for overseas job in 2002. This is an amazing DIY marine tank especially on the skimmer. Do you think the bioball fixture to the impeller will drop off after sometime of high rotation by the pump? what you use to glue it?

I am not using any glue, i cut the bioball and modified the impeller to make them tight fit so that it won't out of position and came off.
See attached picture.
