Want to breed my L144s and L316
would like to ask for tips please.
I have 3 L144s in my 35 gallon cory tank. will they be able to breed with cories in the tank? Also i have 3-4 pc swordtails in there with them. I have a 75 gallon tank with L316s. i have 5 pcs L316, any tips on breeding them? also would it be better if i also move my l144s into the 75 gal? problem with the 75 gal tank is i seldom do water change on that tank. |

Breeding of pleco more or less the same. You need to provide caves of appropriate size, feed well, have matured specimens of both gender and large water changes may trigger breeding. Some easy to breed but difficult to raise the fry.

144s actually can use a bigger cave. Their eggs are sticky and wont get kicked out unlike the other plecos.
So for me i would prefer to use a slightly bigger cave for 144s. |

If your tank have algae growth it would be good, if not then any green leaves will do i.e spinach or lettuce ( slight dip in hot water before feeding ).
