The minimum flowrate is stated as 250L/H ... i was sceptical about it though. But my try with the smallest canister i have which is the Ecco 2234 has shown good result. Whether can go as low as 250L/H not proven in practical yet so i also cannot say it will work.

For Resun CL280 the minimium is 500L/H. But i don't think it will kick in consistant if it's 500L/H. I think need at least a 700-800L/H from what i gather so far.

And all manufacturer's flowrate stated on their filter is all rated without filter media. If I'm not wrong, flowrate with media can be found on petmart's website.

haha i bought a new filter from here..
its ard 700L/h.. hope it is good enough for the chiller..

btw guys! will the flowrate be significantly less after it has been connected to the chiller? if not i worry my crs will be pissed with me cause 700l/h for a 2ft is still alittle too strong...

Last week i hooked a Ecco 2234 with a flowrate of 500L/H to this chiller and surprisingly the chiller kick in is still consistant from my observation. Previously i was using a 2228 with a flowrate of 1060L/H.
Pls read before asking .. i using 2228 and i mentioned i changed to Ecco 2234 which is my spare canister for testing ...

My hailea 150A running for a month now.
The thermostat or temp showing on the chiller seemed to be more than 1 degree lower than the actual temp.

Anyone has the same problem?

Use to be only about 0.5 degree diff max earlier.
