Hi bro, i suggest placing spot lights n overhead hanging lights over ur tank. 4x 4ft underwater light over ur tank. 2 on each side. Normaly just on the 4 underwater lights. On the rest when u hav guest ard. The reason for using underwater lights is not to cause shadow when u on ur spot lights. Hope tis is usefull.

I have been using the PVC pipe idea mentioned by farish...works perfectly...however the hookers got clever too, they wait around the pipe n once the MP appear snatch it one split second if the rays didn't chop it fast hahaha
