Maybe got a bit of hope with the new chairman Seah Moon Ming who said they will look at the pay of the SMRT top management. I don't know of any government linked company where they say this. Usually pay increase not cut.
Need private sector people to run companies not scholars coming out of the armed forces who have no experience running companies. Private companies either make profit or close shop. They have to compete to survive. |
