Hi,

I got 3 ITs in my tank, but there's a dominant and larger one amongst them that's pretty aggressive. It's always chasing the other two ITs and my aro around and nipping them.

Is there anything I can do to lessen it's aggression? Will scooping it out and quarantining it somewhere else for about an hour help?

Thanks.

I've comm-ed them for almost a year already. Initially when they were smaller (3.5-4 in) it was peaceful.

Now they're about 6-7 inches and the dominant one started to emerge recently.

There's a piece of DW in the tank...just added it recently but it does not seem to help.

How big is your tank ? You may wanna consider to add also a wavemaker into your tank . I have many more tigers in my comm , so far no problem , maybe because of big tank size ( 6ft x 2.5ft x 2ft ) , DW & wavemaker .

Hm...then my tank could be a factor. It's only 3ft....

If it continues may have to let it go....

Sometimes they chase each other but i believe the chasing wont create any serious injury on them. I personally have 6 adult IT housing in a 5 ft tank. I have kept them for 4 yrs and they quarrel ocassionally too. So far so good
