The timer will switch on and switch off the solenoid at the time period you set it too, let's say 8am-4pm( usually the lighting plug is also connected to this timer, so have light, have Co2 ). Timer is purchased separately, it is like a oversize adapter switch, most LFS have it.

using solenoid without timer defeats the whole purpose of a solenoid, in my opinion. get a timer and spend more time enjoying the hobby.

a bubble counter is a little container filled with water (by you) so that you could see the number of bubble(s) coming out of the supply.

generally for no brand or made in china items, a 2l co2 cylinder would cost between $55-$65 while a manual regulator would cost between $20-$30 and solenoid $80-$100
Hi Newbie here,

Would like to find out where are these items sold? Can PM me? Thanks.

DONT get this set!! blue cylinder is known as the lousiest and most prone to leakage.
Ive tried it and got fedup, leak even after change seal, so changed to a aluminium cylinder.
Basically i dont trust their products, made in china somemore.
pricewise, C328 only going for 88. Same set

this is my bad experience, so dont want you bros to go through it.
