Default Will uv light effect fert?

Is it advisable to use UV light in planted tank?
Will UV light effect the fert?

from wat i know, uv lights are used to sterilize the water and to destroy algae paticles

Imo i dun think it will affect the fert. I use it for my 2 ft, growth normal.

I'm not too sure whether has it affected my fert but my plants are healthy and propergating when I was using UV.

uv is to remove algae if u use it often it will kill all your bacteria in your tank

I think the BB colonise in the bio media of ur filter will not kena ba??

Put the UV after the filter.

The BB in the filter will not be affected.
