Default how to change t5 8v lamp holder...?

i have this small cupboard type fish tank...it has space for two t5 8v lamps... problem is one of them is spoilt...and i think changing the holders will fix the problem...but i can't seem to get the wires out from the holders...anybody knows how?

i think you can just take out the socket, twist and try to pull the wire out, if the socket is those push wire in type...
