Default External Filter Problem

Hi all, i recently bought an ATMAN 600 canister filter

I realise every a few minutes interval, there is the water sound in the canister. Its like air forced into water those kind of sound.

Motor is quiet, flowrate remains.

Anyone has encounter this ? Is this normal ? I have set up the canister and checked many times if it was correct. Checked connection of valved, and position of basket inside canister.

I never use Atman filter before but your situation is a commom problem. Caused by air going into your external filter.
1st check if your tubes are loose or have crack/holes. Then check the O-ring for the same thing. Worst case scenario is the filter plastic parts have hairline crack. Try to spend afew mins at each part of the filter to locate/zoom in on any bubbles of air during operation.

Many thanks for input.

There was air inside. What i did was that i shake / tilt my canister filter left right centre, could hear air going out. Let it run for few more hours, its very silent now (:

Thanks all ~
