Nice setup. You Are not planning to tie any moss to your wood?
Do use the aircon tubing and if your tank glass is thick you will save $ on your electricity bill. My tubing foam is >1cm thick, glass 8mm and my chiller don't kick in often. Last edited by gryphon; 12-07-2011 at 12:05 AM. |

Actually tubing foam is not really required lah. The plastic hose is a pretty bad conductor of heat. Feel the hose and see. It doesn't really feel cold plus it doesn't even get cold enough for condensation. I have found one problem with aircon tubing, if your hose is bent you will not notice it because you won't be able to see it.
