Tank's into 9th day of cycling. On the 2nd day couldnt resist so brought home 2 lower grade commando from office to test out the home tank. When i returned from overseas last fri they are still alive and kicking.
Over the weekend bought some willow moss and did some 'lazy man's' way of incorporating into the tank. |

are those ceremic rings? they look huge! what plant did u put into it?
may i ask a question? what is the consumption rate of the chiller? roughly how much it contribute to the monthly bills? i just set up a tank a month ago with fan only. introduced some shrimps but not much success. |

For crs, it would be good to have a chiller.using fan will lead to faster evaporation of water. Whats your setup like? Size of tank, filtration, how long it has been cycling, tank parameter readings etc? Post a thread and let the experienced bros advise you further. Most important is not to rush before the tank is stable, though it's easier say than done I had a crs tank in year 2007 but was facing problems as well. |

The setup was awesome even though you did some lazy man's work, very very nice. If for me I would be lazy to tie those willow's moss already.
