apple snail wll eat plants, get a nerite. Nerites clean algae, do not eat plants, remain small and will not breed. The perfect algae-eating snail

just take note that horned nerite snails will keep laying white eggs on your glass and silicon area but eggs will not hatch in freshwater. Just that the eggs are an eyesore.. you can use something to scrape away the eggs if u see them.

I second the use of horned nerite too! Hardworking snail, I only have 1 but I think they can reproduce by itself too? Haven seen the white eggs though..
