Read more on PP first. It is better than alcohol. I have just restart my tank after using PP to clean the tank. Now there are 4 big fishes inside and all are healthy.

me used PP too. if you are going to clean an empty tank why not?
just make sure you wash thoroughly. even with very very little residue, it is ok, afterall we use it to treat our fishes. at least for me. i used it to treat my discus, but at a lower concentration. for washing tank the concentration is very high. done it for 2 feet and 3 feet tanks. |

PP bombing is effective and cheap. I use this method to treat all my new or used tanks...Its safe since u are treating just the tank without the livestocks in it. If u really kiasu then just top up with water and drain off afew times if u are worried abt residue. But if u are using pp with livestocks in it,pls do it wif caution as a wrong dosage and ppm could kill all your livestocks.
