Bukit Batok? It's illegal to dump unwanted pets there. Can be quite cruel too.

My guess : The quarry at Bukit Timah Hill ? ( The quarry becomes a reservoir after years of rain accumulation ). Not a nice place for koi, what can he survive on ? Not surprise that it looks so thin in the picture.

if people start dumping luohan and arrowanas in, that will be the end of these kois.

The photos were taken yesterday at the quarry reservoir in Dairy Farm Nature Park. It is next to Bukit Timah Hill.
The water is shallow, the deeper part could be near the hill but I am not sure. Water is clear and slight green. The kohaku and two showa look healthy to me. I didn't see any wound or skin problems. The Shiro Utsuri has one eye missing. Otherwise, it looks okay to me. |

Apart from lack of proper food, the koi is easily being preyed by birds or even other reptiles because of its colorful body.
