Default Question on salt

Hi bros, i have never added this to my pond. Do I need to do this and is it the marine salts type or....many thanks

hey just go to any lfs and ask for 'rough salt' in chinese. they normally sell in packs of 1kg at $1 each.

yep!! in transparent plastic with no brands or whatsoever on it.

Hi, I am new to goldfish too, can I ask what is salt for? Is it necessary for everyday or is it just when they got some disease?

Some will say never use salt.
For me, I always add salt in every WC, 0.1%

Again the same question, what is the purpose of adding salt to it? Can someone elaborate.

how u measure 0.1% ? I usually put 1 teaspoon of sea salt with every water change (50% water change).
