Hi, I am new to goldfish too, can I ask what is salt for? Is it necessary for everyday or is it just when they got some disease?

Some will say never use salt.
For me, I always add salt in every WC, 0.1% |

Again the same question, what is the purpose of adding salt to it? Can someone elaborate.

how u measure 0.1% ? I usually put 1 teaspoon of sea salt with every water change (50% water change).
