I heard from a tiger hobbyist " surprise " that it is best to avoid using PL lights for tigers as PL lights may increase the risk of tigers getting cloudy eyes . So far , I've never tried using PL lights cos I choose to be believe than sorry .

one eye jack common..
cloudy eye is mainly cause of water condition..
got 1 time i bought 2pcs of 3bars IT fm a bro here..
1pcs both eyes cloudy..
back into my tank..
after 2wks ok liao..
tat's y i believe water parameter play a very big part ar..

my filtration is very simple ..... dun believe in overkill, dun believe in branded medias ..... i have a 522 .... two tier OHF .... japanese mat and ceramic rings ....

in there, i have one 24" aro, one 6" red hook, two 13" STs, one 13" FF .... STs/FF cud be slightly bigger

You may wanna call bro Dennis ( Kepala Sakit ) on your problem . I believe he will be able to solve all your problems . He is quite knowledegeable on water parameters .

no leh ..... they always last quite a while, like 4-5 days ..... it clears off with melafix or jap yellow powder .... i dun use heater though .... heater has it's setbacks ... while it stimulates metabolism, it also stimulates growth of bacteria present in the water ... the cloudy eye generally has two causes, one is fungus, the other is bacterial .... so i err on the side of caution in case it is bacterial infection
