I will update you guys when I think they are ready.... I only hope that the balance fries will survive.

update 20 03 08

started them on pellets few days back... some just couldn't control the in take

probably due to the expanded pellets in the belly - (with a AA battery for comparison)



update 21 03 08

Trying to minimize some from overfeeding.. I decided to isolate them in few groups.

XXL, XL, L, and S in various floating boxes.

M still in the main tank.

nope, this one is dead - Tummy bloated.

They are taking all sort of small sized sinking pellets but primary Omega One shrimp pellets at the moment.

They sure do, Elindra.

In fact, apart fm the look, the way they swim, the way they try to dig and go under the gravel, flipping over their back and sleeping belly up..etc...they simply behave just like the adult fish.

I pre-soaked the pellets before feeding them to the fries in order to reduce the bloating problem in their bellies.

Picked up a few more floating boxes and group them according to their size - fm 50+mm to 90+mm
