Sorry, my col not around to ask about the mi box
He constantly need to do updates to the mi box and we got it 2 years ago.
Kodi or Exodus is no longer available on the mi box to watch movies.

He invested about $168 for the sky media and it comes with warranty plus you can always go down to the shop at sim lim if there is issues.

He screenshot the football match and it was clear.

Like some says, if you know the links or APK file, you can use your laptop connect to the smart tv to watch.

Dont think you need to wait long.. only thing you need to tahan is the hacking work and seeing all the expose PVC trunking in the house !

My fibre line alr laid long long ago. Waitng for forced upgrade

Since you've got the wires laid, it may not worth to wait for the promo.

FYI, my ADSL previously is more ex than current fibre which is higher in spec.

Setting up

Tips
===
1. Install es explorer: ..Use es explorer to install apps from thumbdrive, network drive or cloud drive.

2. Install TV launcher 3 (or other launchers such as sideload, HAL) from playstore: ..With these launcher, you can launch sideloaded apps easily.

3. Install "set orientation": ..Need this app to run certain handphone apps.

4. Install "Android TV remote contol" or "Android TV" on android phone / Iphone :..Much better keyboard compared to the default onscreen keyboard.

5. Install "DNS Changer": works with unblock youku DNS to geo-unblock some China sites.
