Default Mouth holding something

Noticed one of the larger Moba was not eating and had a bulging mouth for the past 2 days.
Possibly good news?

possibly given weather these days. actually 2-3days liao if you want can strip and put into tumbler already. but your fish looks like it's not tumbling. the mouth is sealed shut. try to get a front view see if it opens it's mouth then you can see
good luck!

Sometimes I see it trying to take in air bubble from the air stone. Tried to peak but still can't see anything . I don't have any tumbler now so can't strip too soon.

Anyone knows where to get a tumbler?

Really amazing. Just got this piece this month only and comes with a ready pair. And it is still so young.

maybe it takes in air to practice tumbling or play around.
that's one thing when you buy WC fishes, how you know it's young? hehehe it may be of breeding age? what's their sizes? by now should be able to see something if it is really holding eggs as the eggs should be developing well inside. all the best

Yah it may be practising but it is already the 4th day. Its tank mates have been feeding ferociously all these while but it is still ignoring food.
Still can't see anything though. The size around 5" bah. Always thought it must reach 7-8" to breed.
Ordered a few tumblers from Aust & China. Hopefully they will arrive in time before the "eggs" are gone.

It all started after I did a 50% water change on 2 consecutive days. Maybe it triggered something?

Can see from video it took in air at 1:29

Yah you are right. Took it out today and stripped it. Can't find anything
When it went back, it was taking in air again. Frustrating.
