total noob when it comes to scaping.. bought 2 pretty huge driftwood just now and this should be the "backbone" of the scape.. planning to add a few more branches and might have a pretty big slope, some granite rocks to support the wood as well. i guess 4 packs of soil wont be enough.
*apologies for the dirty tank*

Please advice on the scape guys..
thanks..

Hey bro, glad that you remembered me.. yea that was almost 2 years ago.. end up playing arowana and monster fish for a year and parents didn't want a bigger tank so have to sell my aro..

This time round do 1 scape last at least 6 mths liao.. 422 seriously not easy to scape and plan at all.. and the best part is still far away.. maintaining the plants.

a very mini update... just bought this "rubbish bin" home today.. hope it will produce enough flow + my 3000l/hr wavemaker can keep dead spots away.

Hey post pic lah , don't just talk. I come in here see pics hor. U can scape 6 months is ok.

Question hor. If I lower the water and the metal halide to grow glosso. Later when the glosso spreads. I raise the water level. The plant won't die hor?

you never post your thick substrate tank and reveal your secret to no BGA you still dare to talk so much!

hmm..plant wont die lah.. but might start growing taller if your MH is placed too far away from the glosso.. try to strick a balance loh.. not too far from the glosso but still glosso will stay low.. the reason why i dun wan to keep glosso.. they are very light demanding... 2ft depth no MH even T5HO they also will start growing tall..
