EvolutionZ's nano low tech tank.

woah been quite some time since i started a new thread here. been having my 422 scape for more than a year now and have no intention to change the scape. Been getting itchy lately (after after seeing JIG's nano shrimp tank) i got myself a cute nano 1.5G tank.

Tank size : 25x18x13cm, 1.5 gallon tank.
Lighting : 2.5watts 10 LEDs.
Filtration : Dolphin h-100
Substrate : SUDO bottom sand.
Flora : US fissiden, Xmas moss, nana petite and needle leaf java fern.
fauna : mini corydoras as main and probably some mini boraras as well.

i didnt had the time to set up the tank today and will find time to do so soon, getting pretty excited since this is the first time i am attempting such a small tank.

Equipments.


a pity i couldn't find any space for another tank so this has to go inside the cabinet.


Couldn't find any smaller driftwood while i was at the LFS so i ended up with this 3 slightly bigger wood. one random placement.


Thats all for now, will continue to update this thread as i go along building up this tank.

I harvest it from my 422 planted. just need a tiny bit actually.

The last picture im already ogling hmm ur tank is less than 1ft right ? May i know how many cories ur gonna get and how often for ur wc ? Kinda got poisioned by the cory thread wanna do a 2.5ft tank of only cories .

a pity i dont have much spare to harvest, cause i plugging them out from the main moss "tree" not long enough yet for harvest though..

i may drop by c328 soon to find more suitable wood, the current wood may be too big. Yes its less than a foot. probably 8 - 12 C.hasbrosus.. may be over stocked if i put 12 but i'll be using Biohome Plus as media and probably will do 50% WC twice per week so it should be alright.

Bro, for that tank size, yah, the wood is too big. No point getting those wood wrapped in plastic packaging lah, those are generally too thick. Go GC get the nicer BW woods. I think they will look fantastic in a nano setup. Or camp out B/S for bros selling used ADA woods.
