Thanks alot! The dirt is sucked into the filters, or i suck it up when i do WCs. But the sand is so fine, so the dirt and sand don't mix, and it lays on top of the sand instead, so it's easy to clean it up

May I know how did you setup your FX5? Been wanting to add canisters to my setup as well, as I am running a sump system as well. Not sure if I should the proper way to run a sump with canister.

I dont know if i got you question right... But the FX5s are filled with mixed filters, mechanical filter media and biological. The sump is filled with mixed filters as well, and 2 small plastic tanks as K1 filter. The sump and FX5 are not conected or something like that.

It's a Marble Motoro I try to keep the RTC full, he's only bit 1 fish (who is OK now, in another tank). Other than that, he seems peacefull. But we'll see in the future. I know that he can't really be trusted :P And thanks bro!
