so far those in the main tank all living peacefully for 1wk to more than 2 yrs. no major issues. just make sure all fishes r well fed. actually CLs r very nice n gd tankmates for rays.

some NOs in my tank which i heard/read before last time:
ray + bichir
ray + ff
ray + pleco

bichir + ff
bichir + pleco

lima + tig (cos both suppose to b very aggressive.) this was told by someone in AF after he saw i have both fish in my tank.

Wah so many.. and all big big one. how big is ur tank? ya my pleco will suck my ornate until part of his back turn whitish. but since more birchirs are around, no such probs anymore.

Now i see alot of scratch marks on my biggest clown loach, but so says not birchir bites. maybe my 2 ITs did one lo. Its not just a few single scratches, but a whole lot of them criss crossing the body.

cant rem exactly their sizes, or numbers, cuz i gradually added more n more in. But at the point of the new rays being introduced, roughly there was:

1 x ornate
1 x del
1 x conjuc
1 x lap
2 x senegals
3 x albinos
4 x endis
1 x pleco
3 x NTTS
1 x AT
3 x ITs
4 x dunno wat catfish
1 x jurense
1 x mini luohan (v small only)
1 x silver aro, ard 8" only.
6 x clown loaches

n the 2 rays that didnt make it.

hmm.. feeding them daily. MW(daily), SW(daily), MP(every 2 days),GF(once a week), medium torsat(twice weekly), glass shrimps(3 times a week) for the rays,brine shrimp once every 2 weeks cuz tat seems like just snacks to the fishes. But ive nv seen the pleco eating any of those..except those dead catfishes which my gar will picked up later. I left out

schmike> i nt very sure of the filter media lei, i only know is on top of the tank, it goes thru 3 boxes with filter wool n some round round white rings of things like ceramic or stone or something like tat. water is carried via pipes with alot of holes on top that drip onto the wool lor.

there is one more bag of the white white rings in the tank itself which the pleco likes to hide .

my tank only 4x2x2. so far my plecos seldom suck on my fishes. i make sure all of them r well fed. same for all my other fishes.

i dont c any prob with those fishes. not very high bioload. when i introduced my MM in there was:

feeding is alot which is gd for the fishes. but that is also the cause of the pH crash. many fishes eat a lot = shit a lot = pH crash easily.

thats it. ur filter cant take ur bioload. u need a better filtration system. for me i have 2 cannisters + a modified OHF running on lots of medias which include sera siphorex, ehfi substrate, ehfi substrate pro, biohome+, etc... n i have ard 15kg of CCs in my OHF to buffer my pH. my pH is constant at ard 6.5-7.

ya thats wat i tot too.. but at that time they were like really small cuz i kept them from babies, so didnt tink the filter couldnt take it. The tigers(NTTs n AT) are only like 2.5" -3" , ITs slightly bigger around 6", birchirs were less than 5"..my tsn n gar were babies but i have since transferred them to another tank cuz they seem to outgrow the birchirs by alot.

added the substrate for the rays cuz they like to hide inside.
