3 Feet shrimp tank setup
Set up a 90cm by 45cm by 45cm shrimp tank. Planning to keep Yellow Gold Crossback shrimps and CRS shrimps.
Substrate: Borneowild Shrimp Soil Filtration: Ehiem 2213(prefilter) + Sicce Whale 500 Cannister Chiller: Hailea HS66a Lighting: Odeysea 90 LED lighting. Flora: Mainly Moss tied to Driftwood, Echinodorus, Fissidens. Shrimp soil added Mosura Old Sea Mud powder and Bio Plus. Water cycle with live BB and 50% change daily for first 3 days. Hi, No partition done for this tank. I placed it in my living room wanted it to look natural. Something to relax my eyes from hectic work. LOL
Not necessary, I placed wool and bio sponge hence its easier for me to do monthly maintenance rather than opening up my main cannister all the time. Plus it can first filter off the dirt and debris. I would also added the shrimp supplements there too instead of directly into the water. |
