Default 1ft Tech Tank

Just wanna share my 1ft tech tank which was setup not long ago.

Tank Size: 36cm(L) x 20cm(B) x 26cm(H)
Light : 2 x 8W T5 light (Using one only)
Filtration : 230L/h HOF, eheim substrate pro, ceramic rings and sponges
Fan : 1800 RPM
CO2 : 3bps
Plants: Golden Nana, Bateri Broad Leaf and 1 unknown plant.
Deco : Rocks and Bogwood
Base : Fine sand for corys (cannot remember the brand)

Filter was direct plug and play from my old 1.5ft tank (run for 1yr). Please feel free to comment.

nice set up, looks very natural, like in the amazon
may i ask where do u get ur bogwood? do they have smaller pieces around half a feet wide?

Yeap, I thought of doing it like amazon..

I got it from Nanyang at Seletar Farmway, for $4.. But gotta soak to let it sink, currently still using a rock to sink it in my tank. I saw a few pieces that are about 3/4 ft length, $3 each.

nice setup.. more greens will be nicer..

did u plant the nanas in the sand? i think their roots must stay above the substrate in order to survive and grow..

that cheap leh how big is that bog wood? i may want to head down there to take a look myself

Oh, i didnt know that, will try to lift them slightly off the sand to. Thanks for the info.

Yeap, I was shocked at first.. they have length from 20cm to 45cm.. but i think they left it there quite long.. its really dried up.. will need to soak for a long time before they will really sink..

but i'm amazed by the cheap price.. those half a feet cost around 12+ already in LFS but 4.50..

I haven include that they give 15% discount if you buy more than $10 worth of equipments...
