AF/CC Events - Discussion Thread

Dear all

Good to meet all of you yesterday.

To move ahead, we will require the following information as discussed:

Area needed for each Club/Group

Please advise length and width if specific measurement is crucial. Otherwise, a total sq m required.

Trophies for Competition

how many categories you will have
number of trophies for each categories
text description on each of these trophies.

If you have any other queries or require clarification, please post on this thread.

For Flowerhorn Club, this is our tentative plan:-

Area & Specs
1) Area of at least 30' x 50'
2) 50 nos. 3' x 1.5' x 1.5' tank with OHF n Lighting
3) 25 nos. 2-tier stand with bottom tier at least 1' from the ground

Competition
1) Only 1 Open Category for the time being
2) 9 Trophies and 10 Certificates
3) Champion, Runner-up, Third Prize, Best Kok, Best Colour, Best Pearls, Best Flower, Best Overall, Best Potential (for smaller fish)

Bettas - To be double confirmed with Edwin. (draft)

Area & Specs
1) Minimum Area of at least 20' x 20'
2) 10 x Ikea Display Racks
3) 400pcs PET Containers
4) Blue Tub to age water 1 day prior to show

Competition
1) As per NBC Class list - 42 Classes
2) 42 x 3 placing (1st,2nd,3rd) = 126 Trophies/Certificates
3) 1 x Grand Champion / BOS, 3 x Appreciation plague/Cert to Judges

Transportation best if provided or centrally managed.
No electricity/air piping requirement for bettas.
CC Hall lights should be sufficent.

Setup Equipment,Show Stands available from previous shows.
upon closing for the day, we can blanket up the betta section
for added security.

That's why i say tentative plan lor...... if no sponsor, then become cancelled plan lor.....
