Another week gone and the bubbles stopped......
Sianz....can't seem to get it to bubble longer.... oh the rice when I pour out is still same shape, just white in colour...is this normal? Does the rice become powder after 4 weeks of bubbling? Was wondering if the rice I use is not suitable.... ?? Anyway... started a new bottle with 1 more tablespoon of sugar and half the amount of yeast....after a day can see bubbles liao.... but not as much as the 1st 2 bottles....maybe it will last longer ??? Keeping my fingers crossed |

Mine is into it's third week and still bubbling well.. Maybe I'll share my recipe..
I put into the 1.5L bottle: -Slightly mroe than 2/3 full of water -half cup(the normal cup used for measuring rice) of rice -3 large soup spoon of sugar -2 spatula full of yeast. ENSURE THE SEAL IS TIGHT! have fun =) |

1) Is your rice cooked or raw? 2) 1 spatula full of yeast = how much teaspoon of yeast ? Many thanks. |

Hmmmmm...... normal CO2 kit diffuser loh...
after first week the bubbles not so vigorous one... but got steady stream of bubbles... very tiny bubbles of about 6-8/second... this one should last another two more weeks... as for last week.. bubbling is really very slow liao sometimes nned to shake bottle abit to stimulate release of CO2 from the substrate. |
