I actually put 2 check valves on a tubing. One between the cannister and the counter, another one after the counter and before the flipper. Just to be safe.

get riccia lor... high light and high co2 will cause riccia to pearl like anything...

dun have high light leh..
only have low light..
with anubias and mosses!

noticed that my Co2 system today went flat..
just replaced a DIY mix into the fermenting canister..

You can always target for 2nd 2L CO2 tank with manual regulator as starting point. once you have more budget than get solenoid to safe your trouble.

DIY CO2 not accurate, but for your case I think acceptable cause you only keep nana and moss. Both plant not high CO2 demand.

I guess in order to get the pearling from Riccia, fishes must be taken away right? Cos when I blast my CO2, and it was gradually over time... My CAE "peng-san" not one but all. 1 died from it.
