Ah alright, good luck! Just shrimps? Or are you keeping them in the existing planted scape? If its the latter, it should be really nice!

I think it is not necessary but it is ideal.

My take is is budget is there, should go for it.

Heh I think i'm too lazy for this also la

Default April Update: A little rescape and new additions

With the recent imports of wilds from Brazil to our local shores, I couldn't resist adding new wilds into the jungle set up. Of course, some of my exiting ones had to make way unfortunately. So the wild browns and 2 semi-royals went to new homes.

Here's the current set up with a little readjustment to the scape:

Group Shots and also one of the new additions in focus- Wild Curuai Red:

Another group shot with my existing Alenquer Red in focus (this fella took well to Chai's Red beefheart. Quickly intensified in redness and bulk):

New Addition: Golden-Eye Royal. Love the almost perfect shape on this fella...

New Addition: Semi-Royal. Got rejected by a buddy, and so i quickly swooped in to make it feel "wanted"

New Addition: Golden-Eye Royal. Had a thing of the thin and straight stripes..

New Addition: Purchased as Semi-Royal. The markings made it hard to resist.

Pretty settled for now. Am looking to groom these fellas up and get them bulked up for the next update... Until then!

Thanks for viewing everyone!

You feed BH in this tank? How's the maintenance like for the tank? Scared to feed BH in planted tank in case not careful, kena algae outbreak.

Yup I feed beef heart and seafood mix directly into this tank.
I'm not sure about doing this in planted tanks but I suspect a lot of the food bits will disintegrate and get stuck into the crevices in your plants.

You probably need a lot of shrimps to act as a clean up crew?

Thanks Longyi! I got feedback that my photos are over-vibrant. Which I agree as well... Will need to find time to tweak the settings to capture more natural photos.

Anyone can help? :S
