maybe can try some potted plants in the pond? cat tails, money plants etc.
maybe can help your biofiltration |

btw,plants plants and more plants will greatly reduce ammonia and nitrate,is a open secret for all well maintain pond.

UV = not just algae control
Hi bros,
read some of the threads with interest. I think besides algae control, UV also kills germs and bacterias present in water. Some bros may say yah it kills off the useful bact, but I think it does its part. For me, no pond but my tank is outdoor so i have to on the UV 24/7.. controls the algae. Just to share. Quote:
