my company even fly a manager all the way down to India, to employ software engineer.
And employ lots of them as contact.

contact is under simi pass?

those sporeans who want to be drivers preference is to be taxi drivers. Income is higher n more flexible timing. That why local drivers are hard to get even with a salary of $1800 because they have to work shift and even public holiday.

If we look back to the 90s, we used to have more M'sian drivers. I prefers these M'sian drivers. At least they understand a bit of English, they know the driving culture, they are familar with things in Singapore. They did a lot better job than today's China drivers.

sometimes i'm forced to form racist views ......

yesterday evening on my way home on the AYE, traffic was congested.
an sbs bus no 97 was squeezing it's way through on the emergency lane at a pretty high speed

i had to see who the @#$$% driver was - he looked chinese, with a square jaw and a crew cut a la PLA. i consider myself to be pretty tolerant but this flagrant and dangerous driving puts a lot of road users and bus passengers at risk

ya sometime i feel at risk too ...driving too close to this buses

no worry no worry.. in 5 years time they are singaporean who will be seen at the stadium wearing white holding on to a thunder over circle sign..
