Default Can Altum angel kept in 50cmx30cmx30cm IOS tank?

Hi everyone,

Would like to know is it possible to rear AA in 50cm x 30cm x 30cm IOS tank? I plan to have just 2-3 AA and some Cardinal Tetra. Any advice?

Altum can grow to a height of 2 ft..... U better off to keep small Altum but in the end you need to change tank

Bro, 2 ft is 24 inch leh. No lah. Max 1 ft height in SG context already consider big liao.

hahah... oya.... consider it take more than 5 yrs to grow to that height.. anyway 30cm is still too short for altum. 2.5ft height is ideal.

just checked, the max height for altum in tank is currently at 15 inches. 2ft height for tank should be enough but 2.5ft is the best.

The tank size is alright for the initial few months, given that the AA is a juvenile, but eventually it will stunt the grow rate of the fish due to the space constraint. if not shifted to a bigger space. 2ft will be nice. I am keeping a 2011 batch till now in a 2ft height tank and growth rate has been insignificant. From tip till bottom is more than 10".

IOS flow rate has to regulate to prevent too fast for Angel in 2ft setup.
