Island concept is nice to look at in Amano's book but to really set them up is not easy. To make the island stands up, you have to have a strong foreground around it. example will be glosso or hairgrass. Keep your surrounding tidy...like all glosso or hairgrass and keep the line of your island distinct. This will give you a powerfull look.

Perhaps the ISO setting on your DCam is too slow.

my challenge now is still the hairgrass.... almost giving up on them..

Heard u need to have lower temperature when it comes to hairgrass(if memory serves)

nice! but i think taking out the tall plants in the middle would make the setup nicer

Tank looking good..... I also having problems with my hairgrass....someone in my tank is pulling it out....

thanx alot bro... u are my guru in planted aro tank...

my hairgrass also problematic... seems like my cigar/red line torpedoes are uprooting them...
