Default Aro suddenly eat pellets

Hi,
Was trying to feed the parrot fish with pellets, guess what? aro actually went for the pellets also. Very happy

I was feeding the Tetra Arowana pellets, which I bought some time ago. Back then my aro simply not interested in the pellets. But today don't know why it suddenly started eating the pellets.

Maybe because the pellets has shrimps ingredient and therefore smell like MP. My aro's normal main diets is MP. Anyway just to share the video of aro eating pellets.

Wow! Bro your gold bar Kim Kim hor.

I guess it is the alpha fish in the tank so it has to take all.

Just like my 7-year goldie which super boh chap attitude since young; totally lazy.

For the last 3 months, I comm it with my 6" oscar.
Now, snatching all the pellets that suppose for the oscar.
Eats every damn thing I throw into the tank including pork, chicken or Squid

arowanas are egoistic animals.
they pride themselves as kings of their tanks and take the other tankmates as their punching bags only.
that's why they are very competitive when it comes to feeding.
nobody eats anything before the egoistic arowana king is satisfied with his meal.

i encourage keepers to add tankmates when they are pellet training their arowanas.

it is so much more convenient now that your arowana is eating pellets. congratulations to you.
