after...
need high light intensity to boost the white leaves

tiny leaves, 3~5mm only...


pink leaves...
note the emersed form leaves are bluish green at the right side...

Nice bucep setup, but i still prefer your planted setup with AA & discus.

Sharing my observation in my messy plant holding tank... pearling can happen even in relative low light if the conditions are met.
it's about balance between 3 major elements: light + fertilizer + CO2. Get it right, pearling will happen.
In this tank, tank height is 30cm, sand base, 1led strip, minimum co2/fert... bucep, monte carlo are pearling happily...
