Altho it looked evenly contested, I reckon we are too afraid with all those one on one challenges. Southhampton certainly are looking more rugged in their challenges and that is the difference. We are down 0-2

For the 1st goal, it surprises me that the DDG did not jump forward to try punching the ball away.
While the 2nd goal, it seems to be the a weakness for DDG now as another team scored from the same angle previous. Cannot remember which team or was it in epl or cl game.

Yes, in the past he also saved a few goal-bound ball from that angle too.

Anyway, hope we can recover well to nick a draw or to win the game in the 2nd half

What a comeback. From 0-2 at HT to 2-3 at FT.
The difference is Cavani the proven striker who is at the right place at the right time for his two goals, both wonderful headers.

Good job! 3 pts in the bag.

Beek should be more greedy instead of a pass.
Even his fellow team mate thought he will shoot instead of a pass

A good comeback from 2goals down.
Always good to see the fighting spirit around.
Can see better game in the 2nd half.
We played with more aggression when going forward.
Cavani came on to help contribute 2 goals and provided assist to 1st goal - MOTF in my opinion.
Beek needs more game time to gel with the team.

The great escape. Is Fergie time coming back.

Greenwood and Rashford were poor in not taking their chances. it should never have been 2-0 at half time but should at least be 2-2. Greenwood should have scored the 1st goal of the match. He appears to have lost his form. Poor not to beat the Southampton keeper with so many chances before Cavani showed them how to do it.

Fred should know better than to give away a freekick near the goal with Ward-Prowse on the field.

This time Ole made the change early bringing on Cavani at half time.

Saw in FB that Beek left ankle was quite swollen and maybe that was why he chosen to pass instead of taking a shot.
He cannot put strength on his standing foot to shoot.

One more plus point for this warrior.
