Long time no update on my tank, here's how it looks like now. removed the E.tenellus at the front for more cories keeping. main fishes are still the altums.

Looks great! Don't know if it's feasible, ever thought of adding fine sand to the bare portions in the front?

Curious to know what's the water change regime like?

Great scape. Parameters look extremely stable for both fauna and flora.

thanks bro, yes i have thought about it, but didn't want to risk my altums since i have no extra tank to house them if i wanna change it to sand.

Nice looking altums! Do they disturb your tetras? Thinking of a 4ft planted tank, wondering if I should go with altums or just stick with cardinals...

Till date they did not touch my cardinals, but i sold most off leaving 12 of my largest ones since im worried they may start eating them when they get big. go with altums bro! should be another 6 months wait at least for the new batch of altums to arrive.

Thanks! the discus were sold due to them constantly pairing up and breeding. decided to go for altums instead.
Oh.. but i think discus would bring out the colour contrasrt better. Anw AA are awesome also :X Think im gonna get posion do the same scaping as you after Cny :X

yea the color of discus blends with the scape very well, especially wild discus, but i prefer altums too. really beautiful to watch.
