From what i've read, these dwarfs are also shell dwellers.
Got them from a bro here who manage to breed them
Mine are the offsprings.

btw, these guys are really sensitive to water change.

Is there anyway to help them over come ?

Got..... dun change water

To tell you the truth, I dun really change water much, maybe 50% every few months or so... they really do not do well with water changes, always lying at the bottom and gasping after the water change.

Best if you can leave the water to stand for a while with anti chlorine and salts before you add the water in. The next best option is to add water very slowly(that's what I do)

last time when i keep altos i only do top up on a more regular basis.other then that any water change is not more than 30-40% and done in a very very controlled manner.

Don't change ? LOL !! how I wished.

How do you manage the water condition with so little WC ?

surprisingly altos do quite well without water changes, they still breed and eat well btw i feed market prawns and only use sponge filters, but I dun feel good la, that's why I change after a few months
