Sorry to hear that ,

For keeping monster fish with OHF , best use hose pipe to connect to ohf with jubilee clips .

*Just for the info , My ex fishes like rays ard 12" , knifefish , birchirs , tigers and tigrinus above 15" can shift/move a 3 ft plus dw which weighs about 7 to 8 kg around in my tank .

My condolences.

Personally, a similar power failure event in my home few years back took away 3 x 18" ST, a tigrinus, a IT & a red hook. An IT & red hook survive the power failure.
Got a inverter auto changeover power backup for the air blower which could had lasted 5 hrs, still when I get back from work in late evening, it is a sad sight.

As such, avoid over stocking if one could.
