ID bet black wolf and mala

Hi guy,any pointers to be able to confirm the difference between these two?
I saw a pc selling at a cheaper then black wolf price but more ex then mala and the ID is black wolf,it is hidding in a pipe so I need to know how to ID before I ask the shop owner to bring it out to take a look.
I do notice that black wolf head is rounder.

malabaricus usually in grey brown colouring with a dark connected blotched pattern
curupira are quite bulky in build with a blunt head and broad body. The colours vary greatly depending on mood from a light brown patterning to an almost solid black colouring
