turtles have eyelids. they will slp with eyes closed.

Bro, need yr advise, below pix is the injured eye I mentioned. Fm wat i c, not swollen or signs of fungus, but top eyelid seems got some torn tissues, tats y can't fully open his eyes...causing the bottom lid like going upwards? Really worried it will worsen. But plus point is so far he still hve no prob detecting food & swims around happily wif no signs of stress/discomfort.

Do u tink i shd continue treat with yellow powder everyday 10min out of water till he recovered or juz leave him alone by maintaining gd water?

personally anything that is minor i wont treat. i will let them heal by themselves. same goes for fishes. but some ppl a bit also want to add med to treat.

if u r worried what u can do is add salt n yellow powder in the tank. this is what im doing for my PNT comm now to prevent infection on their minor injuries.

already partitioned my "girl". it is getting quite aggressive towards my big boy.

Day 3 after treating left eye injury, improving each day.

day #1: 20% partially open
day #2: 40% partially open
day #3: 70% partially open

Since took out to put med on eyes, also at same time apply some yellow powder on d white healing areas on the carapace.
