Default Peacock Bass Identification Info and Pictures

You're really on about pb, corn. Can start pictorial here with your pb pic leading.

By the way, where are you up to with the collection? Well, it's 2 orinos, 3 azuls and one rather patchy mono now i have. Will take some pic later to show.

Hey bro, nice to hear from you. Wow, you have a neat collection there!! I have five ; one orino, one hybrid (tem/ocellaris cross maybe), two tems and one monoc. But my interest now is really odd-ball fish. Payara, ATF, Wolf, Gar. Sold off my Payara recently.

Yeah, got a few freshwater barracudas, some EEs, stingrays, aros with them. Thinking of adding a few African tiger fish. Those at CF are sooo small if not can try. Ha...

Cichla temensis... or Emperor Peacock Bass...
Looks like around 8 inches?

Yes, its a Cichla Temensis (Speckled Pavon) or Emperor Peacock Bass in local slang.

I bought mine for $40 while it was 6". From the pic, bro DC49's fish is about 4".

hi can help to id my pb(pics in my gallery)..thx in advanced,i tried reading up but still get no ball,but if i m not wrong they should be mono?
