Agreed. I switched to another web gallery instead. Now using the one at clubnsnap. Much better. Can hot link too.

No lah. it's not the camera. If you notice, most of my subjects are the "stationary" type (e.g. prawns, gouramis, corydoras, etc). So any camera also can give you similar results. If my subjects are not cooperative, then I don't shoot them.

FWAH!!!! Nice pics benny!!!! I see you've really gotten the lighting thing down pat now!! How you do the fish like human portraiture shot? side lighting on both sides plus front a bit?

Yo!

Fancy seeing you here mariner! Sad to hear that you've gone over to the dark side. Anyway...

The lighting is quite easy. One flash at the top front, one flash at the left back for the rim light effect. Back flash set at +3. Fire away!

More details of these techniques can be found in most photography guide books under the portraiture section. Just improvise.
