No. Yours in a local model meant for the Singapore/Asian/Europe market. Only USA and Japan used the Kiss as a model designation. However, only Japan has the USM (Ultra Sonic Motor) version of the 18-55 mm lens. Everyone is complaining why should this USM verions be exclusive to Japan.

So yours is a legit version just like the rest of us.

Nope. Don't have the luxury of owning one. Maybe in the future. I'm just using some obsolete camera. Nothing like the state of the art 300D!
