you are most welcome. Like D24 mentioned, our main objective is to encourage sharing, exchange pointers so that all the hobbyists will gain more knowledge. With the GB, we will be able to generate some funds for events which will eventually contribute back to the hobbyists here.

My suggestion for the no show or pilots, all the goods can be resell to other AF members who miss the GB. They can come and collect the goods from you at the time agreed. Their loss is others gain.

For the pilot let AF administrators handle them accordingly as mention by 'Barney'.

We thought we’d also take this opportunity to reiterate the main objectives of the Group Buy (GB). While one of the objectives of GB is to generate $ for the Events Fund, it’s main objective is to encourage meeting and sharing. If you do the Math, you will realise that it will probably take “forever” before we can generate enough funds through GB to organise our events. This GB generated S$77.00

The GB provides the platform for members to gather together and get to know each other better. Hence, we selected one of the most popular as well as centrally located places to meet. In addition, there is easy access to affordable food and drinks and we can all have dinner together and talk over food and drinks (go dutch, of course). Am sure you all agree that there is no better way to do this than meeting face to face. At least, you will now be able to put a face to a name… In addition, it will also help us get to know members better. Some members may not be good in words and thus, sometimes what is written in the forums may appear a little negative, but when we get the opportunity to meet the person and hear him out, it may be totally different. Thus, this meeting opportunity provides an environment to make friends and understand each other better. I understand that some even participated, just so that they can meet their “idol”. I have already made your requests known... hehe...

We also had some suggestions, eg: having a few distribution points – unfortunately, this will be far too time consuming for those assisting in the logistics of the GB, in addition to incurring additional personal expenses. Would like to highlight that zon is also another AF member who has agreed to help out and if he has to make trips to various places, it will cost him substantially more in terms of time and money (petrol) that he has already volunteered and it wouldn’t be fair to ask that of him.

We hope that those who turn up enjoyed themselves. Personally, I was very happy to see a very old friend whom I last met probably a decade ago. EH – good to see you after such a long time. Hopefully, some of you will make some new friends or take your friendship to a greater level…

dear mod .. i can help to distribute in the north-east side if you don mind as i told Zon bro ... i can get from zon from there people can meet at my place for collection so more people will get to GB if distance is the problem ...
