Oh, I use pails and wipe the base before I transport it around the house. But I did play with the idea before in my head for a bigger tank like a 4 footer since pails are not feasible at all.

Hi again, just recalled........Do keep some old filter wool. They are good for wiping off algae on glass too!

I use the credit card (or anything similar). Its much neater in my personal opinion. Sometimes filter wool will leave behind some floss or it needs to be dried thoroughly to prevent problems.

Hi,
Can I know where is diaso to get this manual pump. You are right, my moss on the drift wood is filled with debris and silky algae. Hope to get this to suck it out.

Wow, this is quite an old thread.

Daiso is the Japanese shops that focuses on retailing low-priced items. IMM has one, so does Vivocity.

alot of other brands, but its more expensive. cheapest is diaso.
