This is what they called "sunset industry" due to advancement of technology. Let me have a show of hands who still order and read hardcopy newspapers nowadays? Not me. SPH really got to think of doing other side business for survival, if not matter of time.

Retrenchment is part and parcel of corporate life, of being employee. Ask those in the oil and gas industry how many whose frens had gotten axed.

Important is how the exercise is being carried out, whether got reasonable package etc.
