Default 2 ft project

Finally had some time to meddle with new setup,
Tank size 60x30x47 (cm)
Cool white 5000-8300k
Really hope to see the plants flourish

Neat setup, but temp seem to be abit on the high side. Have u considered adding a fan?

not enough soil. very soon, the plants will loss their foothold and start floating......

Wow 38.2dC is very high & wouldn't your soil will roll down to the left side? Perhaps can use those pale colour(white sand) substrate on the left.

Hi Clamence, ya temp seems to be abit on the high side for plants however the led are xm-l bulbs is considered cool for such high power leds, according to the led manufacturer it designed to run without active cooling...

Heuer thanks for tip, this is my trial setup before I commit to any further led... better to start small than start wrong...

Clamence & Royston my bad... the temp reading was taken of my led instead... ^_^ however thanks for the soil tip.

my advice will be do it correct the first time...
any mistakes along the way will be easier to rectify...
step one will be fill the tank with more soil
