If showa, I'll look for "wrap around" sumi.. this koi also has thick shoulder sumi.. so its a Sanke for me! Another teaser here... It's a Taisho Sanke.
The sumi in the pectoral fin is stripy rather than block. The sumi on the head is not patchy enough. The sumi on the body does not wrap around the body. My 2 cents. |

For your sanke/showa and kohaku, i would pay more attention to their body conformation when rearing them.
